About Sue
Hello, I'm
Sue Moir
offering psychotherapeutic & counselling services, warm, professional support for adults navigating life's challenges.
My Story
A Warm, Integrative
Approach to Therapy
I offer psychotherapy and counselling services for adults seeking support through life's challenges, emotional difficulties, and periods of change whether you are experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma, menopause-related concerns, or simply feeling overwhelmed.
With a background in healthcare as a Registered Nurse and a BSc (Hons) in Nursing, I bring a deep understanding of both physical and emotional wellbeing to my therapeutic work. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
I understand that every person's experience is unique, and I aim to create a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, without judgement. I work integratively, drawing upon Transactional Analysis, Attachment Theory, Relational Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Informed Practice tailoring therapy to your individual needs.
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and finding the right therapist is an important decision. My aim is to provide a professional, compassionate, and supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore whatever is bringing you to therapy and move towards lasting positive change, healing, and personal growth.
